Framing Reality: A Study in Documentary, Experimental, and Photojournalistic Photography

This project explores the diverse worlds of photographic storytelling through the lenses of documentary, experimental, and photojournalistic photography. Drawing inspiration from iconic figures like Robert Frank, Dorothea Lange, Don McCullin, and Henri Cartier-Bresson, the work analyzes how photographers capture truth, emotion, and abstract meaning. By creating original images and experimenting with color, light, and composition, the project reflects on how visual media can convey humor, tension, conflict, and beauty. From candid moments at home to stylized nature edits and surreal overlays, this study not only showcases influential styles but also applies them in personal photographic experiments that challenge perception and narrative form.
