Meet Jack Morgan
Personal Statement
A highly motivated first-class honours Computer Science graduate, seeking a role in Gameplay Programming. Through professional work under Cosmic Sabbath, with the addition of solo projects and collaborative team work at university, has first-hand experience in creating full game prototypes and complex systems across a variety of genres, including PC and VR games. Core strengths are founded in gameplay programming, debugging, mechanic design and optimisation using C# in Unity with Visual Studio. Developed deep interest in games, having founded Opsters eSports and running a gaming related YouTube channel. I’m eager to apply my technical skills and creativity to help bring engaging, polished games to life.

• Unity & VR Development: Published VR games on official platforms, like Meta Quest 3, with cross-platform compatibility. Completed the Unity Essentials Pathway certification, strengthening core Unity development skills.

• Project & Team Management: Successfully led a collaborative university project as Project Manager, a role involved organising and participating in meetings, adhering tight deadlines, implementing effective task delegation and monitoring the work of the team. Enhanced leadership and teamwork skills.

• Professional Certifications & Training: Completed multiple Computer Science centred certificates, building on core programming knowledge and gaining familiarity with industryrelevant tools. Earned Cyber Quarter’s Cyber Security Awareness Training, IMB’s IBM MQ Developer Essentials and CodeAcademy’s Learn C Skill Path, Fundamentals of Operating Systems and Cloud Computing, amongst others.

• Discipline: Successfully passed DVSA Driving Test, which required focus and attention.
• Web Development: Developed the official Opsters eSports website from scratch using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, showcasing strong frontend development skills.
