I crafted this 'Invalid User' icon by first staging a self-portrait wearing an illuminated Purge-style mask. The background features a deliberately styled Christmas tree, its festive lights creating a stark, almost unsettling, contrast with the mask's ominous glow in the darkened room – a juxtaposition designed to evoke the specific thematic atmosphere of the movie. In Photoshop, I integrated the 'INVALID USER' text banners, reinforcing the digital error or outsider theme. Significant post-processing was also applied to enhance the image – smoothing textures, balancing the brightness of the lights against the shadows, and adjusting contrast to maximize the visual impact and suspenseful mood.
