Survey4All – A Web-Based Survey Platform

As the Project Manager for Survey4All, a collaborative web development project, I led a team of seven to create an interactive and user-friendly survey platform. I was responsible for organizing weekly meetings to assign tasks and track progress using Basecamp, fostering a collaborative environment by implementing paired task assignments to improve productivity and communication. Anticipating challenges such as reduced communication during critical periods like spring holidays, I mitigated issues by reallocating roles to ensure deadlines were met.

To enhance efficiency, I restructured the GitHub repository by creating organized folder systems, which improved accessibility and streamlined the team’s workflow. I also took on Mi-Linux hosting responsibilities to enable quicker updates, increasing testing frequency and improving overall output. Additionally, I contributed technically by designing the project logo, managing social media content, and experimenting with website button designs to enhance usability.

One of the key features I directed was the implementation of account functionality, which included profile pages, personalized survey recommendations, and seamless login sessions, all aimed at creating a smoother user experience. I also scripted, compiled, and edited the project’s Video Demonstration, ensuring a professional presentation. When necessary, I stepped in to represent team members and showcase their contributions effectively.

The project was delivered successfully, resulting in a visually appealing and fully functional survey platform with advanced user features. By balancing workloads, improving communication, and leveraging strategic hosting and repository organization, the team achieved all project goals efficiently. This experience demonstrated my ability to lead diverse teams, solve problems under pressure, and contribute both strategically and technically to a collaborative project.
